Crafting the Mystery: Tools and Tricks Mystery Writers Use – July 15, 7 – 9 pm, Avon Free Public Library (281 Country Club Rd, Avon, CT). I will be making one of four presentations by Connecticut mystery writers for Mystery Authors Night. Come to learn about the web we mystery authors weave to draw you into our books and to keep you captive until the last page.
New England Authors Exposition – July 30, 10 am – 9 pm, (Doors open to the public 4-9 pm) Danversport Yacht Club (161 Elliott Street (Rte. 62) Danvers, MA). This year I will be attending the Expo in two ways: once again as an author selling and signing my novel, Amanda’s Room, and this year as Vice-president of the American Authors and Publishers Guild (AAPG). Chris Obert, owner of Pear Tree Publishing and organizer of the Expo is also an AAPG board member. I and the other CT AAPG board members will be learning about the Expo this year in order to explore ways in with AAPG can play an expanded role in the Expo’s future.
